Carolina Visual Productions is a 501 C 3 organization that was founded November 1987. The original name of the organization was the Wilson Visual Production Company which was based out of Wilson, NC.
Co-founders John Dillon and Dwayne Barnes started the organization in order to give members something to do after marching band season was over.
The winterguard officially became Carolina Visual Productions in 1990.
